Delta Green: Impossible Landscapes

Date Added: 04/21/2021 01:35:44
Delta Green: Impossible Landscapes Impossible Landscapes continues Arc Dream Publishing's tradition of setting the bar higher and higher for each of their new products. This campaign is intricate, thought-provoking and horrifying, while also telling a very compelling story that your players will talk about for years to come. Excellently written, lavishly and equally excellently illustrated and illuminated; this is the epitome of what we ought to expect from published scenarios and campaigns. Fear is fractal, and your world is a lie....

DDAL06-03 Crypt of the Death Giants (5e)
by Christopher D.
Publisher: Wizards of the Coast
Date Added: 04/20/2021 22:25:29
DDAL06-03 Crypt of the Death Giants (5e) Some interesting and lore driven social interactions. The exploration has interesting cinematics, but the "puzzle" that needs to be solved doesn't actually have any clues. The combat can be very over or underwhelming for a level 17+ group, depending on their makeup. But what this has going for it is that combat works as a mini-game, with thought proviking challenges that can't be resolved by rolling bigger dice than the enemy.

Cold & Dark

Cold & Dark Probably the best horror-SF TT RPG! I Knew Cold & Dark for a long time but, actually, I am mastering some Resident Evil with a friend, then I thought about horror SF. We have plently of horror in modern age ( World of Darkness, Kult, Call of Cthlhu) and in med-fan ( Warhammer, Shadow of the demon lord, Ravenlof) but almost nothing for SF except Alien. The thing is that the author loves horror movie, loves video games and tabletop roleplaying games. That counts.A lot. As examples, his first inspirations are Alien, Event Horizon and Dead Space, but in these universe, you have no hope. So he took all the univere he liked, tweaked them to let your PC to have a chance to live and have some kind of future and put them togethe. That's a feat of intelligence. The system is simple, almost forgettable, you simply do D8 dices pool and must do 7 or 8 to do successes. In combat, the defense becomes a minus while some specific tools or situations give you bonuses. To create your PC, ...

Disposable Heroes Fantasy Statix 2: Humanoids
by Ian D.
Publisher: Precis Intermedia
Date Added: 04/20/2021 19:02:44
Disposable Heroes Fantasy Statix 2: Humanoids The size of the A-frame miniatures are appropriate for 15mm scale at 100% scale when printing. Scaling your print to 110% makes them closer to 28mm scale, but then the miniatures are cut off by the printer's minimal margins. You'll have to print on a larger paper than normal 8.5x11 inch paper/cardstock and adjust the scale to make the minis closer to 28mm. Other than that, the images are good. You may wish to label the minis to remember what's what as Precis only uses a number code....

Sprites Sprites introduce us to a new kith for changeling the dreaming. Sprites are changelings with ties to technology. This book provides use with limited background of the kith and provides information on their appearance and lifestyles. The book also provides a little write up on Church of Isodora, a group that belives that the internet like the dreaming connects the physical and ephermeal. The Tabletop Gaming club really liked the concept of this kith. For the price, this booklet gives some great ideas. We do recommend this product, but also wish that kith was expanded on more....

The book gives enough detail to get a storyteller started with each adventure with allowing the storyteller the freedom develop each mission as he or she sees fit. The Tabletop Gaming club played through both missions and enjoyed themselves. Our group particularly liked the first mission involving an antique shop selling haunted artifacts. The Tabletop Gaming club recommends this product to any storyteller wanted a quick mision plot to introduct their players to Orpheus....

D&D Master Set (BECMI ed.) (Basic) Great deal! I was missing this box set from my series. I had it printed off at Staples. Would love it if DTRPG did a print on demand to this series. I am overstating the obvious though. Sorry for hijacking my review to beat that drum. :P This series is beloved by many and this was one of my favorite books in the series next to the red box.

Heroic Maps - The Lich's Lair

Heroic Maps - The Lich's Lair I used this map as the finale confrontation with my version of "Zhengyi, the Witch-King" who had built his "lair" in the Shadowfell. This map was great having the Adventurers exploring his lair, encountering various creatures and encounters, and then encountering the final battle with Zhengyi, the Witch-King in the throne room. The map esthetic was appropriate for a setting. I would like to see some additional add-ons for this map. However, it was great for the final encounter with this Lich in my campaign....
